Greetings from Sya Archdeaconry. Praise the Lord brethren. Sya Archdeaconry is composed of four parishes and eighteen sub parishes. Parishes that form Sya Archdeaconry include Sya parish led by myself, Kyengando parish led by Rev. Faith Kanaya, Kaicumu parish led by Rev. Ataho Samson, and Engari parish led by Rev. Patrick Rwaburimba.
Sya Archdeaconry has seven church founded primary schools and one church founded secondary school.
Let me take this great opportunity to thank my Lord Bishop for the enormous work done so far in eight years of his tenure. I thank him for uplifting the education sector throughout the Diocese. Here in Sya Archdeaconry we are doing all it takes to do the best in all schools – secondary and primary. I urge all church leaders in the Archdeaconry to make sure that education of our children is a priority.
I also thank the church for standing together against homosexuality and call upon NGOs, Christians and parents to always help the vulnerable children to be aware of dangers of such social vices.
I thank you for giving me space in this magazine.
