Beloved, I greet you all in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
I thank God who established, sustained, and developed us into a complete vessel ready for His divine purpose in our time.
We are thankful for this distinctive invention of the Diocesan Magazine 2023, in which we reflect on and appreciate God’s goodness upon us since we started in 2003 up to today.
My sincere gratitude goes to our God-sent leaders for their exceptional minds, timely transformation, servant leadership, and innovativeness. In particular, I applaud our current Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Stephen Namanya, in whose time we have seen North Ankole skyrocket to greater and remarkable heights.
A desired, streamlined, proper, and disciplined Financial Management System that enhances accountability and transparency is evident through a number of impressive achievements, including:
Payment of all diocesan workers on a monthly basis
Increased utilization of the banking system
Employment of Parish Accounts Clerks
Audited books of accounts (both internally and externally)
Compliance with the tax authority
Strong internal and external financial controls
The possibility of these outstanding values extending throughout the entire structure—Archdeaconries, Parishes, Sub-parishes, and other Diocesan projects—together with the immense lobbying for diocesan income, reveals the authentic and credible leadership of Bishop Stephen Namanya.
I thank the Archdeacons and Parish Priests who have continuously offered their support.
I thank the treasury staff who have served as a team. Indeed:
Together Everyone Achieves More — TEAM
And to you, beloved Christians, it is your big-hearted and generous giving that continues to stimulate God’s work. May God reward you abundantly.
Thanks be to God who enables us always to deliver His service.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
