Mbuga Archdeaconry is one of the sixteen Archdeaconries that composes North Ankole Diocese. Firstly, I take this opportunity to thank God that saved me from earthly goods and I ended up joining church ministry. Honestly if there is anything good on earth, it is to live on earth in God’s faith. I therefore call upon all Anglican community of Mbuga and North Ankole Diocese at large to put earthly life aside and accept Jesus Christ as their savior.
Today, Mbuga Archdeaconry is composed of three parishes and 10 sub parishes. The three parishes include Mbuga parish, Kabushwere parish and Kiruruma parish.
Faithfully, I want to take this opportunity to recognize the founders of all churches that compose Mbuga Archdeaconry at all levels. For instance, I recognize men and women of God for the historical foundation they laid in the establishment of Mbuga C.O.U that today serves as one of the powerful Archdeaconries in the Diocese.
I am grateful to all church priests and lay readers serving in various churches within Mbuga. Continue serving and God will reward you. In fact, I am blessed to serve in the church where our beloved Bishop Emeritus Rt. Rev. Bishop Stephen Namanya married his wife Maama Lydia Namanya from.
As the Archdeacon of Mbuga Archdeaconry, my advice goes to parents and guardians of today’s youth and children. I therefore beseech all parents to raise their children knowing church values. Children who have been raised through church have ended up becoming great citizens of our nation Uganda.
On the other hand, using this opportunity I greatly thank God for the developments North Ankole Diocese is attaining under the leadership of Rt. Rev. Bishop Alfred and Maama Molly Muhoozi. Honestly speaking, North Ankole Diocese has totally changed as far as development is concerned.
Lastly, let me go ahead and thank the Anglican community of Mbuga Archdeaconry for the team work in renovating and advancing all projects of the Church within the Archdeaconry. My prayers and respect goes to all church leaders at all levels within Mbuga Archdeaconry.
