Sanga Archdeaconry is one of the sixteen Archdeaconries in North Ankole Diocese situated in the southwest of it. It is situated alongside Kampala – Kabale highway in Sanga Town Council. It boarders with Mbarara city in the west, Kyakabunga in the east, Kikatsi in the north and Isingiro District in the south.
Sanga Archdeaconry is committed to serving our Lord Jesus Christ by showing love to every person from every family and race including non-believers in God’s plan of salvation, Matthew 28:19-20.
Sanga Archdeaconry is comprised of four parishes, twenty-two sub parishes and the parishes with their leadership are as below: Sanga parish led by myself, Kanyaryeru parish led by Rev. Sam Nabasima, Kigarama parish led by Rev. Geofrey Birakwate, and Rwabarata parish led by Rev. David Matovu.
Sanga Archdeaconry has nine church founded schools, both primary and secondary. Great appreciation to the Bishop who spear headed the education campaign in the Diocese that birthed Kanyaryeru primary school the second best in PLE 2022 Kiruhura District as well as other schools that performed better than ever before.
Prayer and healing ministry in the Archdeaconry is powerful with facilitated committees, women fellowships and discipleship programs for adults and youths are established which has enabled the church to reduce on the number of non-believers in the area.
