Message from St. John’s Kazo Archdeaconry
Praise God brethren. I greet you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I thank the Almighty God who has enabled us to witness another season of service and growth in North Ankole Diocese.
St. John’s Kazo Archdeaconry is found in the heart of Kazo District, about half a kilometer from the main road in Kazo Town Council. The Archdeaconry is composed of eleven parishes and thirty sub-parishes. The parishes include St. John’s Kazo C.O.U as the mother parish, Kyampangara, Kyantumo, Nyamambo, Nyakinombe, Kyenshebashebe, Rwemirondo, Mbaba, Ntambazi, Gabarungi, and Rweminyafu.
The Archdeaconry is committed to extending the gospel to all classes and races of people. We run several fellowships including Kazo Police Station Fellowship, Kazo Central Market Fellowship, Kazo Local Council Fellowship, and Kazo District Fellowship. These fellowships help us take the message of Christ beyond the church walls and into the daily life of the community.
We also thank God for development projects in the Archdeaconry. Among them are St. John’s Compassion Hall, the old church building now used for fellowships and functions, church rental houses, a playground, washing bays, and the Kazo daily market and taxi park project under construction. We remain grateful for the support of the Diocese in education and chaplaincy work for Kazo Secondary School and Kazo Model Primary School.
I thank Bishop Alfred and Maama Moly Muhoozi for the direction they have given to this Diocese. I also appreciate all clergy, lay readers, and Christians who continue to support the work of God with faithfulness and sacrifice. May the Lord bless St. John’s Kazo Archdeaconry and continue to strengthen us for His service.
