Praise the living God Brethren!
I take this singular opportunity to thank Almighty God for the life He has given us and also giving us North Ankole Diocese, in which we live, serve and cherish.
It’s a joy to have this forum of Diocesan Magazine which is the first of its kind since the inception of the Diocese in 2003 and so appreciate his lordship Rt. Rev. Stephen Namanya our current Bishop for this initiative and those that have supported and participated in its production.
I feel it’s important to appreciate Rt. Rev. Stephen Namanya for his visionary leadership and sacrifice that has realized numerous achievements which have elevated our Diocese to a point of reference by in various spheres like Education, infrastructural development, health Mission and Evangelism, Financial Management, unity and order, to mention but a few.
Tribute goes to Bishop Emeritus Rt. Rev. John Muhanguzi, the pioneer Bishop who with a formidable team set a very firm foundation on which all the pillars have been placed to raise to greater heights.
It’s imperative to appreciate the tremendous support from our beloved clergy and Christians who together have united to give sacrificially and passionately to help put together such a Diocese of difference.
Suffice to mention is the amazing support from Bishop’s Office/ Diocesan Secretariat staff who have at all fronts been a shoulder to lean on with guidance from our lordship Rt Rev Stephen Namanya which has taken our Diocese to a desired direction.
My prayer and hope is that the legacy left by our predecessors should be left clean and steadfast for the Glory of God.
I wish each one of you brethren in our Diocese and beyond a deserving life premised on Christ Jesus our firm foundation (1 Cor.3:11).
Long live North Ankole Diocese! Long live Revival! Long live everyone
