Archdeacon Nkungu Archdeaconry

Message from NKUNGU ARCHDEACONRY

As the Archdeacon of Nkungu Archdeaconry, I take this opportunity to thank the Almighty God for the goodness and existence of North Ankole Diocese. Joyously, I thank God for giving us the righteous man of God Rt. Rev. Alfred Muhoozi, for the quality leadership skills. With the Bishop Emeritus   Stephen Namanya, North Ankole Diocese  tremendously developed. As Nkungu Archdeaconry community, we pray that God continues guiding our Bishop Alfred Muhoozi in their ministry.

On the other hand, I pray to God to continue giving good health to our pioneer Bishop Retired Bishop John Muhanguzi and his entire family. His legacy will never ever be forgotten.

St. Peters Nkungu Archdeaconry obtained its Archdeaconry status in 2018 and it is composed of five parishes and 23 sub parishes. The parishes include Nkungu parish, Kashasha parish, Omuntebe parish, Kagaramira parish and Kajuzya parish. With great pleasure, I hereby acknowledge all parish priests and lay readers serving the Anglican community of Nkungu Archdeaconry.

Additionally, I go ahead to thank the entire leadership of Nkungu Archdeaconry at all levels for the team spirit portrayed whenever there is a task to perform. In fact, I thank the stakeholders of Nkungu Archdeaconry for keeping the church projects like schools and animal farms fashionable.

Faithfully, I thank the noble-minded righteous man of God Rt. Rev. Alfred Muhoozi for the extraordinary humility and guidance he usually gives us. Due to his regular guidance and advice, the laity of North Ankole Diocese have managed to construct a solid team work and hence development of various church projects in different communities of North Ankole Diocese. Indeed,  Bishop Muhoozi is a complete visionary leader.

Lastly, I thank the Government of NRM headed by Gen. Yoweri K. Museveni and First Lady Maama Janet K. Museveni for the good leadership and governance. For God and my country. Long live Uganda, Long live North Ankole Diocese.
